Tropical Sun Fruit Platter

Tropical Sun Fruit Tray (Platter)
One of the most stunning and simple things you can put at the center of a Mother’s Day table is a platter built around the sun. In Estate Bride, I created this Tropical Fruit Sun Platter by slicing grapefruit into thin, jewel-bright rounds and fanning them outward from the center of the board. Between the grapefruit slices we tuck orange slices and kiwi — layered in colors that feel like warmth itself. And it signals to every woman at that table that someone took the time.
Pina Colada French Toast
Inspired by the legendary breakfast tables of the Caribbean — most notably the Caribe Hilton in Puerto Rico — this Piña Colada French Toast is a celebrated brunch indulgence. I recreated this recipe on my Travel inspired Food series on YouTube. It was indeed a luxurious dish and a hit among family and friends. The pillowy sweet bread, golden and rich, is crowned with caramelized fresh pineapple and a generous finish of toasted shredded coconut. The result will turn your brunch experience into a tropical getaway.
Orange Zest Dark Roast
Our Hacienda Orange Zest Coffee is one of my most beloved morning indulgences — a brew elevated by two simple additions that transform a dark roast into something entirely its own. For this recipe, I used the moka pot, but you can adjust it for your drip coffee maker or French Press. The most important thing is adding the additional ingredients to your dry ground coffee before you brew.

Movie Night Dessert – Hacienda Affogato
The Hacienda Affogato
Our signature estate dessert is the Hacienda Affogato — an Italian affogato tradition embraced by Mexican and Black Southern richness. Over two scoops of Private Selection’s Brown Butter Bourbon Truffle ice cream, (Kroger), we pour a shot of rich dark espresso, then finish with 72% dark chocolate shavings, cinnamon dusting, and fresh orange zest.
It is a dessert and a coffee experience simultaneously. It is the kind of thing that makes a table go quiet for a moment while everyone takes their first taste.
The Coffee and Dark Chocolate Board
Inspired by the great pairing tradition of wine and cheese, we build our Coffee and Dark Chocolate Board around the same principle — contrasts that complement, flavors that unlock each other. We often pair a rich dark or medium-dark roast coffee served alongside a carefully curated dessert board.
One of them is our festive Dark Chocolate Bark made from 72% dark chocolate, candied pecans, toasted coconut, and dried cranberries. We added fresh strawberries and pecan shortbread cookies to round out the experience. Each element chosen to draw something different out of the coffee. Each pairing a small discovery. This is the perfect elevated movie night treat.
